The innovation of technology and social media has impacted society in two profound ways, both negatively and positively. Despite being more connected to other humans worldwide, we have never been less human than we are now. The constant stream of news on television and social media is eroding our humanity. As we scroll through images of protests, riots, violence, shootings, and hate crimes, we become increasingly desensitized. This overexposure to violent news can be traumatic, and it's crucial that we understand the reality without becoming numb to these situations.
